The last of the Earth missions to colonize James’ quadrant has come through the rift. They are military personnel that have had enough of their military. They bring with them a new chance at a good life on a new world far from Earth. There they meet Elizabeth, Colonial Affairs Minister to James IV. As events unfold, they find themselves involved in a battle with pirates. From there, the story takes a strange and wonderful turn. Elizabeth is reunited with her long-lost sister she did not know existed.
