EastEnders Ultra is a popular website for the BBC soap opera EastEnders. Updated daily, the site provides the latest news, spoilers, features and extras from Albert Square.
Ultra also offers coverage throughout the week with full commentary as episodes are broadcast on BBC One.[1] The site is well-known within the EastEnders online community.[2][3][4][5][6]
Content
On 6 February 2015, Ultra had an exclusive interview chat with former Walford actress Anna Acton, who played DC Emma Summerhayes. [7] Whilst speaking to Ultra, Acton praised on-screen partner Jake Wood and revealed that he was "very welcoming" and "lovely" to work with.[8] The star also discussed the show's long-running Who Killed Lucy Beale? storyline, as well as EastEnders Live Week.
On 11 February 2015, EastEnders Ultra confirmed that Derek Martin had cancelled his plans to make a return as cab driver Charlie Slater. A representative for the actor commented: "Derek’s brief return to EastEnders was cancelled due to the storyline going a different way. Last week Derek tripped on his front doorstep and broke his right hip. He had a full replacement hip operation last Tuesday (3 February) – he is still in a bit of pain and out for 6 to 8 weeks."[9]
