East End Taste Magazine, LLC is an online American food and lifestyle publication founded in November 2014 by Vanessa Gordon.[1] The magazine's components include Lifestyle, Luxury/Family Travel, Restaurant Reviews, Recipes, Drinks, Specialty Food trends, Style, and Events. There is also a Kids Corner, which focuses on child-friendly restaurants and food.[2]
History
East End Taste Magazine was founded by Vanessa Gordon in 2014. Previously, Gordon was a freelance writer and English as a Second Language teacher and private tutor. She is the Publisher of East End Taste. She continues to freelance write. East End Taste Magazine is a go-to source for "all things food and drink in the Hamptons and North Fork with a taste for luxury travel and refined style". The publication focuses on a Hamptons lifestyle aesthetic while highlighting travel, food, and style interests of those who visit the eastern end of Long Island and who reside there.[3] It publishes articles highlighting Long Island food events, particularly in the Hamptons, notable chef interviews, interviews with Hamptons and New York City personalities, and national travel including Tennessee and Rhode Island.
Gordon is also a lifestyle and food influencer who hosts/cohosts small events throughout the Hamptons summer season and creates content for East End Taste's Instagram platform.[4][5]
The magazine has a combined reach of over 40,000 readers, including monthly newsletter subscribers.
In July 2018, the magazine and founder hosted the first annual Hamptons Interactive Influencer Brunch at Topping Rose House. The event was produced by the celebrity event planning company, Ticket2Events. Attendees included actors, actresses, reality television stars, YouTube sensations, influencers, celebrity fitness trainers, and more. The annual event will take place again in July 2019.[6]
