The Eastern Crossroads Conference is an IHSAA-sanctioned conference in East Central Indiana. The conference formed in 2025 as schools from Hancock County, Madison County, and Henry County banded together to create an athletic and academic conference of schools both close in proximity and that provide great competition within all sports. Four schools were announced during a press release about the formation of the ECC. Eastern Hancock, Lapel, New Castle, and Shenandoah are current members of the new conference, while formal invitations have been made to potential future members. Eastern Hancock and Shenandoah will be leaving the Mid-Eastern Conference, New Castle will be leaving the Hoosier Heritage Conference, while Lapel has been an independent with no conference since 2014.[1] [2] [3] [4]
