Eastside Hotrods LLC is an American e-commerce and video production company headquartered in Sammamish, Washington. The company specializes in clothing items and accessories such as T-Shirts, hoodies, hats, stickers and other apparel-based items. In 2020, Eastside Hotrods started creating internet videos and uploading them to the social video sharing site YouTube as an effort to reach more people.
Eastside Hotrods was founded on June 20th, 2004, by Bill Linzbach while working on his cars at home. The company was originally created as a blog[2] and image gallery site, but in 2020, it moved to an online e-commerce and video production company. Eastside Hotrods is also the parent company of Tyrsmok LLC, Eastside Hotrods TV, Projectcar.com, and 1970cuda.com. It targets men and women of all ages interested in classic car restoration. Eastside Hotrods only serves North America but is set to expand nationally in 2022.
History
2004-2019: Startup
Eastside Hotrods was founded June 20th, 2004, by Bill Linzbach while working in his garage at home. The original intent for Eastside Hotrods is described as “a shop with unique parts and accessories based on stunning design, quality craftsmanship, and friendly customer service.” The domain eastsidehotrods.com was registered that same day, and three days later, on June 23rd, 2004, an official landing page titled ‘Coming Soon’ with a caption describing the company… seen in this archive would be released. This, however, remained the front page of Eastside Hotrods for 16 years until August of 2020, when the site officially launched as an apparel shop. During these 16 years, however, multiple domains and sites were registered under the Eastside Hotrods umbrella, including projectcar.com, 1970cuda.com, and tyrsmok.com.
2020-2021
It wasn’t until 2020 when Eastside Hotrods officially launched, but not as a car part shop. Instead, the company reintroduced themselves as an e-commerce apparel and video production brand targeted at men and women of all ages interested in classic automobiles. During this change, the company joined social media for the first time and sparked employment rates up 73%. In 2020, Eastside Hotrods tried launching a streaming service titled ‘Eastside Hotrods TV’; however, due to the lack of traffic the site received, Eastside Hotrods TV shut down a week after its initial launch on August 29th, 2020, and the company’s video production team moved only to the social video site YouTube in an attempt to reach more viewers. As of 2021, Bill Linzbach remains CEO and is headquartered in Sammamish, Washington, United States.
2022-Present
In 2022, Eastside Hotrods is set to start shipping to beyond North America and into other regions. The company is also set to launch new brands and TV series, including the following:
- Eastside Hotrods Watch - A TV streaming app with only Eastside Hotrods content
- Eastside Hotrods Garage - A social video series following garage tips, trips, and product reviews
- Eastside Hotrods Adventures - A social video series following the adventures of Bill as he travels off the grid in
Eastside Hotrods is also set to introduce a new logo in early 2022.

Tyrsmok
Tyrsmok is a subsidiary of Eastside Hotrods LLC created on June 21st, 2012, by Bill Linzbach[3]. The website tyrsmok.com serves as a stand-alone blog following the restoration of a 1971 Camaro and would later join Eastside Hotrods as a subsidiary in 2013. The site hasn't been updated since its last post on July 4th, 2012, but remains online to visitors.
Eastside Hotrods TV
Eastside Hotrods TV was a short-lived streaming service accessible via Eastside Hotrods website. It was founded August 23rd, 2020, as an attempt to localize content; however, due to the lack of traffic the site received, Eastside Hotrods TV shut down a week after its initial launch on August 29th, 2020. Eastside Hotrods isn’t completely dead, however, as the company plans to reintroduce Eastside Hotrods TV as Eastside Hotrods Watch in 2022. The site will run alongside the Eastside Hotrods YouTube Channel.
1970cuda.com
1970cuda.com is a subsidiary of Eastside Hotrods LLC. The company was created April 27th, 2001, and served no purpose until December 2006 when the site was updated to display a coming-soon landing page. The company joined Eastside Hotrods in 2007, and as of 2021, the website is still accessible but serves no purpose other than operating as a landing page.
