EasyCount.io (Abbreviated EC) was formed in 2016.[1] by Patrick McDermott and Artur Leonowicz. EasyCount.io is a software company that offers a digital based platform to perform stocktaking[2], a vital element of any business that sells goods or products in mass amounts.

History[edit]

EasyCount was started to offer a wide range of businesses that conduct stock-takes, a simpler and faster way of performing their stocktaking, eliminating and trying to overshadow the traditional method of conducting stock-takes with pen, paper and Excel.

Patrick McDermott, founder and CEO has a huge history of stocktaking experience, spanning over 25 years. His other company, Stocktaking.ie is the only stocktaking company in the whole of the Republic of Ireland to have been awarded an ISO 9001:2015 (International Standards Organisation)[3]

Patrick McDermott and Stocktaking.ie have been actively contributing to the growth of businesses and employment in various regions in Ireland[4]. Alongside this, Stocktaking.ie has won the Supplier of The Year Award in 2014 awarded by Retail Excellence Ireland.[5]
