Ebenezer Lutheran Church is a historic Lutheran church in the Sunset Hills neighborhood in Greensboro, North Carolina and was the second Lutheran church built in the city. It is part of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.[1]
History[edit]
The church was incorporated on September 29, 1907, and officially incorporated as a parish on July 12, 1911.[2] The church relocated to Walker Avenue on October 6, 1929. Ebenezer Church was one of the hosts for the Lutheran and Catholic dialogues in the late 1970s.[3]
In 1998, Ebenezer Church built a new fellowship hall, kitchen, narthex, and nursery. John and Anna Lewandowski were hired as the architects for the project.
Every year the church hosts an Oktoberfest celebration.
