Edinburgh Metro Proposal incorporates proposals from Capital Rail Action Group (CRAG) and old maps of Edinburgh to propose a new Commuter rail system for Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Edinburgh CrossRail

This was the first step by City of Edinburgh Council to increase connectivity from West to East of Edinburgh.

Proposals for Edinburgh South Suburban Line re-opening

Thinktank Railfuture proposes the reopening of Edinburgh Suburban and Southside Junction Railway including the opening of eight new stations serving the south side of Edinburgh[1]. Capital Rail Action Group's (CRAG) 2019 proposal for Edinburgh Crossrail 2 involves a re-opening of Edinburgh South Suburban Line along with a number of new stations.[2]
