Edison Motors(Hangul:에디슨 모터스) is a Electric Bus manufacturer in South Korea.Headquarters and manufacture facilities is located in Hamyang County,Gyeongsang-namdo.
History[edit]
It was initially launched as a vehicle manufacturing division by Hanguk Fiber GRP pipe division.However the deficit caused the vehicle division to be divided and incorporated.In July 2015,vehicle division was sold to Taichi,a Chinese bus manufacturer and changed division's name to TGM(Taichi Green Motors).But there was a criticism about the company's credits and There was also a possible scenario that electric bus technology by Hanguk Fiber that was provided with South Korean national support might be leaked to Chinese Bus manufacturers.Like SsangYong and SAIC in 2000s.Also Taichi had not paid the contraction deposit properly after the acquisition.In 2017 Taichi sold TGM to Korean company EES,because it was not profitable for them.and TGM changed the company's name to Edison Motors.
