Edufar is an Software as a service school management software developed by the company Sygul Technologies Private Limited. Edufar is a cloud-based school ERP software used in schools and colleges for administration purposes. Edufar is now used in more than 5,000 institutions in the world. For the development and support of Edufar, its parent company Sygul Technology Pvt. Ltd. was supported by Kerala Startup Mission. Edufar is provided as a free to use for institution below 150 students. The commercial version of this software is available for the institutions with more than 150 students.

It attempts to reduce the workload of the teachers in an educational institution, thereby increasing the overall productivity of the institution.
Technology[edit]
Developed on .NET Framework framework with MVC architecture. The application is composed of a basic module which satisfies all the necessary requirements of a simple SIS. Edufar is optimized for customization and there are many add-on modules which extend the power and usability of the software. Edufar supports multitenant architecture. Edufar started the development in September 2012.
