Edward Arthur Dodwell
Edward Arthur Dodwell (1919[1] – 22 May 2009) was a senior police officer in India.[1]
He was educated at the Lord Williams's School, Thame,[2] and then joined the Indian Imperial Police. In 1939 he was appointed as temporary superintendent of police in Poona.[3] He rose to be Commissioner of Maharashtra, and subsequently remained in Bombay, becoming Director General of the Laxmi Vishnu Cotton Mills.
