Edward Le Lorrain was an editor and producer, known for If You Love This Planet (1982), Dark Lullabies (1985), and Dream of a Free Country: A Message from Nicaraguan Women (1984). Le Lorrain won an Oscar for Best Documentary Short Subject at the 55th Academy Awards for his work as a producer on If You Love This Planet.[citation needed]
He married Heleen Van Donselaar on April 12, 1955 and had one child. Le Lorrain died on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the age of 86.[citation needed]
