The Edward W. Roman Mystery[edit]

According to information made public on the website BlueMoonSong.org in September of 2018, Edward W. Roman, the 17-year-old son of Polish immigrants in Troy, New York penned the lyrics and music of the song "Blue Moon. This classic American ballad became one of the most universally recognized songs of the 20th century. History tells us that this song was written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart (Rodgers and Hart) in 1934, but evidence disclosed by the Roman family tells a different story. This entire story is documented on the website BlueMoonSong.org which was created by his daughter Liz Roman Gallese
