Ee Pattanakke Yenagide? (ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಏನಾಗಿದೆ ? ) meaning “What has happened to this city?” is a 2018 Indian drama-comedy-thriller in Kannada language, written by Ravi Subba Rao and Sheshagiri Panchamgam, directed by Ravi Subba Rao and produced by Ravithejo Studios. The film was shot at various locations like Bengaluru,Mysuru,Coorg,Hubballi,Mangaluru and Goa. The entire movie is shot using a smartphone, to be precise it is Apple iPhone 7 plus. The film is slated to be released in the last quarter of 2021.
Set in the backdrop of cricket betting Ee Pattanakke Yenagide exhibits highs and lows of gambling.Local good-for-nothing small time punter Achyuta along with his close aides gets into deep world of cricket betting. With their continuous losses in betting, they hatch a plot to come out of the mess by hook or crook. The story also exposes the nexus between police, punters and bookies. Will Achyuta and his aides be able to come out of the mess forms the climax of the movie.
