EGO Brazil is a Brazilian website about television and celebrities created in 2016 by journalist and advertising Tiago Ghidotti,[1] who is also a columnist for the Portal de Terra News.

2016[edit]
In 2016, the news portal was created shortly after the site with the same reference as Globo.comGrupo Globo#Internet pages was closed.[2] According to an interview with the website Veja, the journalist commented[3] more about his work routine in the newsroom. The portal receives, on average, 1000 news from agencies and also from the advice of celebrities and has the help of over thirty employees on its portal.
The main ones that he considers the right arm are the award-winning journalist Renato Cipriano[4] and the press officer Marcus Lehman[5] and that same year he won the Mega Talent Show Award,[6] the vehicle also has a channel on YouTube, where the interviews are published and coverage of events with celebrities with the participation of Gabriel Leão[7]as an official reporter and Weslley Silva as a photographer.

In 2018 the channel debuted on youtube and has already interviewed Léo Áquilla, participants of Big Brother Brasil, DJ Eme, who participated in the second edition of Canta Comigo, from RecordTV, the global actress Luíza Tomé, the journalist Leo Dias, the global actor Caio Castro, also interviewed instagrammer Romagaga, according to the program Ferdinando Show quotes and has already interviewed, and also covered events that generated stories for some portals like Who about the queen of country music Marília Mendonça and also the Brazilian actor Fernando Toledo[8] among others.

In 2019 the online magazine was launched every two weeks, the magazine deals with varied themes of national and global scope. Among the topics dealt with frequently are celebrity and famous issues in general. Although not the focus of the magazine, subjects such as technology, science, ecology and religion are covered in some copies. Eventually issues that deal with regional issues are published.
