Ehsaan Tahmid (Bengali: এহসান তাহমীদ) is a British Bangladeshi multilingual nasheed artist and member of the Labbayk nasheed group.
Biography[edit]
Ehsaan was born and raised in the United Kingdom into a Bengali Muslim family originating from the Sylhet Division of Bangladesh. His father's name was Mohammed Rojab Ali (1954-2014).
In 2006, Ehsaan joined the Labbayk nasheed group and had the privilege to travel with them performing across the United Kingdom and all over the world in places such as Canada, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Philadelphia, Germany, Bangladesh and Pakistan. In the same year, Ehsaan was honoured to be selected by Zain Bhikha, one of the greatest English-singing Nasheed artists, to perform at the Global Peace & Unity event in ExCel London as the Best Solo Nasheed Artist, watched live by more than 30,000 people and millions broadcasted via Islam Channel.
He left the Labbayk group in May 2015 but rejoined later. He toured the United Arab Emirates in 2018. In the same year, he performed at the Night of Vocals. In 2019, Ehsaan appeared in Run Shaykh, Run!, a promotional short film with Shaykh Abu Abdissalam and Muslim Belal. In the same year, he toured South Africa and shot two nasheed videos at the Nizamiye Mosque with Imtiyaz Sidat, Hafiz Mizan and Kamal Uddin under IlmFeed.

Labbayk has released 5 albums; Rhymes of Praise (2008), The Greatest Gift (2012), Gratitude (2016), Karaoke (2019) and Remembrance (2021). The group also released their first single Mustafa in 2018.
As a solo artist[edit]
O My Lord (2010)[edit]
O My Lord is Ehsaan's first own album, which was released in May 2010 via Safar Media under the name Ehsaan & Friends. The album was recorded by RepDaDeen at his studio in London and mixed and mastered by Gareth Redfarn in High Street Studios, London. It was released in support of Ebrahim College and its efforts to deliver Islamic education at all levels. The album starts with Sheikh Mujahid Ali reciting Surah Qaf; a chapter of the Qur'an. It then moves on to a number of nasheeds in English, Arabic, Bengali and Urdu.
