Eithne Walls
Eithne Walls (December 2, 1980 - June 1, 2009) was an Irish eye doctor and a former member of the famed Riverdance ensemble. After retiring from competitive dancing in 2000, Walls had performed with the award-winning Irish dance troupe on Broadway for a year and later began studying at Trinity University in Dublin, Ireland over the past six years to pursue her career to become a certified eye doctor at a Dublin hospital. She was among 228 passengers aboard Air France Flight 447 from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Paris, France, which disappeared over the Atlantic Ocean on 1 June 2009.
