Elaine Everest
Elaine Everest is a writer who was born in Erith, Kent, in 1953.[1][2]
Personal Life[edit]
Elaine Everest is the eldest of three children, born into a working-class family. She married her husband, Michael, in 1972. They chose not to have children but to own a variety of dogs instead. She has said, "When I die, my dogs will be buried with me. I know that when my time on this earth is over I will be remembered as that strange woman who had dogs instead of children".[3]
