Elara Pictures
Elara Pictures[1] is an independent production studio founded in 2014 by Josh and Benny Safdie, Oscar Boyson[2], Sebastian Bear-McClard[3], and Ronald Bronstein, headquartered in New York City.
The studio’s first feature was Heaven Knows What'[4],which premiered at the 71st Venice Film Festival on August 29th, 2014 and went on to win the Grand Prix and Best Director awards at the 27th Tokyo International Film Festival[5], as well as the C.I.C.A.E. Award at 2014's Venice Film Festival[6]. The studio's second feature, Palme d'Or nominated Good Time [7], was released August 11th, 2017[8] and starred Robert Pattinson.[9] Elara Pictures' upcoming productions include Uncut Gems[10] and a reimagining of 48 Hrs.[11]
