The passive electronic lock system contains locks, keys, software.
- Passive lock
- It refers to the lock of no power in the passive electronic lock system. Therefore, it does not need a wiring, and it is easy to install and replace the traditional mechanical lock. Its appearance is similar to mechanical locks and may include many lock types.
- Electronic key
- The electronic key is verified by reading the ID of the passive lock. When verifying, the key will be powered on the coil in the passive electronic lock. The coil generates a magnetic field and the magnet is driven in a passive electronic lock to unlock. At this time, the rotating key can be unlocked by the mechanical structure in the passive lock.
- Management software
- Set the right to unlock the key unlock in the management software in advance, you can limit the unlocking time of the key. When the operator uses a smart key to unlock or turn off the lock, the management software can collect records of unlocked locks through communication with the key.
The reason for using the passive electronic lock system to replace the mechanical lock:
- Save long -term costs, and convenient: operations to replace mechanical locks into passive electronic locks, which can reduce the additional costs generated when the key is lost.
- Automated access control: managers can set up the time period where the operator can unlock in advance. Compared with traditional mechanical locks, it eliminates the process of applying for access and approval.
- Remotely authorized unlocking: When the operator needs to perform the unlocking/lock operation during the non -authorized period, the manager can remotely authorize the operator to temporarily unlock the authority.
