Electronic World Trade Platform
Electronic World Trade Platform (more commonly known as eWTP),[1]proposed by Jack Ma, is a world-wide e-commerce platform initiated by the private sector with the participation of various stakeholders. It aims to promote public-private dialogue, promote the establishment of relevant rules, and create an effective policy and business environment for the healthy development of cross-border e-commerce. e-WTP can help developing countries, SMEs and young people in the world to more easily enter the global market and participate in the global economy. [2]
The Digital Free Trade Zone [3] is derived from the e-hub concept in eWTP put forward by Jack Ma. In his vision, the world will be linked by "e-hubs" which provides the basic facilities for all SMEs in global trade, in order to make "Global Buy Global Selling" a reality.
