Elgin Cahill

Elgin Cahill is an American film and television director and producer. He is best known for directing and producing the films Beware the Lake and Diablo Canyon, as well as the PBS documentary, Keep a Light in Your Window.

Life and career[edit]

Cahill grew up in Queens, NY, where he worked sporadically as an occasional child actor. He relocated to Colorado in his 20’s and began working behind the camera. After having held just about every possible crew position, he wrote and directed his first feature film, Summer of Silence.

He later went on to direct and produce the supernatural 2017 thriller, Beware the Lake, featuring Jonathan Lipnicki and Stephen Kramer Glickman.

Cahill is also known for directing and producing the documentary, Keep a Light in Your Window, which aired on Rocky Mountain PBS in November, 2020.

He is currently director and producer on the reality television series, Cash Cowboys.
