Eli Nacht
Eli Nacht is an Israeli lawyer, politician and diplomat.[1]
Biography[edit]
Eli Nacht was born in Jitomir, USSR, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1991. He has held several political positions, such as member of the 19th center election committee in Israel,[2] strategic adviser to Yisrael Beiteinu, twice as an adviser to a deputy speaker of the Knesset (Hamad Amar, Tali Ploskov), general secretary of parliamentarian aids, chief of staff for the Russian speakers in the Kulanu party,[3] as well as a consultant to the Abkhazia government.
Since 2010, Nacht has held the position of chairman of the Israel Youth Association.[4] One of the most popular and successful projects of the association is the Israel official league of KVN.
In 2015 Eli Nacht was a recipient of the Ivan Sirko 3rd Degree, awarded by Ukrainian authorities, for the continued strengthening of relationships between Israel and the Ukraine.[5]
In 2016 he was appointed to the International Human Rights Defence Committee as a representative from Israel.
During 2016, Eli Nacht published the book Breaking Stereotypes. Written in Russian, the book follows Nacht's work in the Israeli Knesset in the position of Parliamentary Lobby Director for empowering Israel.[6] Through his work during this time, Eli built a direct line of communication and cooperation between the Israeli political leaders and Christian leaders around the world.[7]
Nacht lectures at the Israeli Center Political Training and New Media College.[8][9]
