Early life[edit]

Elijah Nelson was born on May 7, 1999. He has 7 siblings called Daniel, Mary Jon, Micah, Judah, Josiah, David, Shawn, and Shiloh.

Acting career[edit]

He played Neil in Mad Men (2007) and also played the recurring character Evan in The Thundermans.

TikTok and Youtube rise in fame[edit]

On TikTok, he made many videos of himself and his sister Shiloh which involve a basic overview of a brother-sister relationship. When Among Us started to become popular[1]over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic,[2]the Nelson family decided to make a video based on Among Us on YouTube that shows the same principles implemented in the game, for example tasks, impostors and crewmates and vents in real life. The video became so popular that they made sequels of the video, a bloopers version and a video called Animatronic Among Us Ride. This also started a subscriber spike on both platforms. During that time the family members were featured more often than they used to which led to their current YouTube and TikTok name, Shiloh and Bros.

Laugh Over Life rivalry[edit]

The Laugh Over Life YouTube channel decided to do the same thing before the Nelson family's video had been released and made their Among Us video. However, the two channels were competing a month after release and the rivalry sparked even more. In retaliation, Laugh Over Life made sequels and a sitcom style video to compete with Shiloh and Bros. By January 2021, Laugh Over Life were not winning and the two sides started to make their own videos without dissing each other.
