Elijah Silva
Elijah John Silva (born October 11, 1992) is a Canadian actor.
Early Life[edit]
Elijah John Silva was born in Kenora, Ontario to Vincent Eugene Silva, a internal medicine physician, and Angelique. His parents are both from South Africa, and emigrated to Canada 3 years prior to have his older brother, Timothy. Silva's parents were Roman Catholic, which has been a big influence in his life. His parents were constantly looking for a better town to raise their two boys, and moved several times. Eventually settling in Williams Lake, British Columbia. His parents divorced when he was a child. Elijah and Timothy stayed with their father, but visited with their mother often.
In Williams Lake, he attended Elementary School at Sacred Heart Catholic School until Grade 2 when they moved down to Vernon, British Columbia. He went to St. James School where he studied for 2 years, and they moved again. This time to Nanaimo, British Columbia - where they stayed. He went to Rutherford Public School, where he was prone to acting out and getting into playground fights. He was often sent to the principal's office. He moved to Aspengrove School, a small private school, in an effort to focus him more on his school work. Since the class sizes were so much smaller, there was less freedom to act out. It was at Aspengrove where his love of theatre, film and literature was fostered. He graduated there in 2010.
