Family
Hansen met her husband, Paul Schuler, through their work on YouTube. [2] Hansen made guest appearances on his channel, Music Movies. The two became engaged on November 5, 2012, and were married on October 13, 2013. [2] Their son, Grey Ingram Hansen-Schuler, was born on August 13, 2014. Persephone "Sephie" Lenore Hansen-Schuler was born March 5, 2019. [3]

Hansen has a long history on the platform, first co-writing and guest starring on Lindsay Ellis' The Nostalgia Chick channel. This content also appeared on That Guy With the Glasses, a video hosting website for Channel Awesome. Hansen also developed her own series, Pumpktoberfest, where she and various guests rated various pumpkin-flavored beers. The first episode of her ongoing series, Vampire Reviews, was uploaded October 21, 2011. It is hosted by her character, Maven of the Eventide, on the channel of the same name. Hansen continues to serve as a co-writer for Lindsay Ellis' current channel and helps moderate the comments on her videos.
Novels
Hansen co-authored her first book, *Awoken*, with Lindsay Ellis, Serra Elinsen, and Antonella Inserra. [4] Published in 2013, it is a parody of Young Adult Paranormal Romance. [4] Hansen published her first independently written novel, *The Company of Death*, in 2019 with publishing company Falstaff Books. [5] It is the first in a trilogy, *The Immortal Journey*.
