Elisabeth Meinhart played by Lisa Riecken, who played the part in the first 4577 episodes in sequence from 11 May 1992 to 22 September 2010 at Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten (GZSZ), was a teacher at the Viktoria-Luise-Gymnasium.[1] Meinhart then emigrated to Canada with her husband, Clemens Richter played by Frank-Thomas Mende. The married couple were the last two characters from the beginning of the series to leave it, and they left Jo Gerner, played by Wolfgang Bahro since episode 185 in 1993, as the current character with the longest sequence.[2] The married couple returned to the series for the funeral of Verena Koch, played by Susan Sideropoulos.[3]
