Eliya Cioccolato (born May 28, 1988) is an American fashion designer, style influencer, and businesswoman with Russian roots. Three own collection lines have been launched so far: Ready-to-Wear, Cioccolato Gowns, and Cioccolato Cruise Collection. Eliya regularly participates in Swim Miami Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, and Los Angeles Fashion Week. She has created six collections, including two in collaboration with Anastasia Kwitko.
Early life
Born Elvira Anvarova in Perm, Russian Federation, her family has Asian, Russian, and Italian roots. She later adopted her grandparents' surname (Cioccolato) as her professional name. Eliya studied economics at the Academy of the National Economy and earned a Master's degree in Business at Shanghai University.
Career
Eliya then moved to Moscow, where she accepted a position as fashion director for the popular Italian brand C&C Milano. She participated in Russian Fashion Week several times. [1] Eliya Cioccolato currently resides and works in Miami and Los Angeles, where the clothing manufacturers she collaborates with are located. She founded Cioccolato Fashion company LLC and launched her own line of women's wear, the Cioccolato Collection, in 2015, and added a swimwear line the following year. Eliya debuted her "Make Love not War" collection at Miami Swim Fashion Week [2] and Los Angeles Fashion Week. The designer frequently holds fashion shows at clubs and hotels including the W Hotel Miami, River Yacht Club, The Deck, and Delano Hotel. [3]. She also participates in Miami Swim Fashion Week and South Florida International Fashion Week.
The designer collaborates with Miami TV, American Housewife, and celebrities Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Nicki Minaj, Fat Joe, and hip-hop artist Future. In 2017, Anastasia Kvitko became the face of the Golden Girl Eliya Cioccolato cruise collection. Together, they launched a beauty line, Body Curves. Their second collaboration resulted in the AC-305 swimwear collection, a code representing Miami. In 2017, Eliya debuted at New York Fashion Week with two collections, AC-305 and Goddess of the Jungle[4], showcasing plus-size models alongside traditional sizes on the runway.[5]
