Elizabeth Hartman Seckman (born Elizabeth Merry Hartman) is an American author of romance novels.[1]

Early Life and Education[edit]

The youngest of five siblings, Elizabeth was born in Ohio in 1969. Soon after her birth, her family moved to Middlebourne, West Virginia where she spent her life until adulthood. Elizabeth went to Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. There, she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in counseling and rehabilitation. After graduating she worked for a time at Youth Services System, Inc. until she began her career as an author.[2]

Career[edit]

In 2012, Elizabeth published her debut novel, Past Due. Since then, she has released several other books, all in the romance genre. Each of her books have been published through World Castle Publishing.[1] Elizabeth says her books are inspired by childhood trips to the Outer Banks and a fascination with its history.[3] She has written a total of five books.[1]

Personal life[edit]

Elizabeth lives in New Martinsville, West Virginia with her husband, Chad Seckman. Together, they have four boys. Their oldest child, Caleb, was born in 1994. Their second child, Cole, was born in 1996. Their third child, Carter, was born in 1997. Their youngest child, Conner, was born on 2000.[2]
