Elizabethport station is a former station on the Central Railroad of New Jersey's main line. It was also served by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. It was located near the CRRNJ Newark Bay Bridge.
The station was built on April 20, 1938, with a contract awarded to the Turtur Brothers of Elizabeth, New Jersey for a bid of $141,000. The new station replaced an earlier station which was razed a few years prior, and was part of a project which involved the elimination of thirteen grade crossings.[2] The Cranford–Bayonne Shuttle was the last to serve the station, which was discontinued in 1978, thus closing the station down.
