Elke Jeinsen (born 25 July 1966 in Stockholm, Sweden)[1] is a German model and actress.[2]

Career[edit]

Jeinsen grew up in Hanover.[3] In 1986, she won the competition to be Miss Hanover[1] and was runner-up as a candidate for Miss Germany.[1][2] In October of that year she was Playmate of the Month of German Playboy Magazine. In the following year she worked as a model and was "Lady Luck" in the ARD programme Einer wird gewinnen (only one will win).[1] In 1991 she appeared on the RTL show Tutti Frutti,[1][2] partnered with Hugo Egon Balder.[4] During production she lived for a year in Milan, Italy,[2] where the program was produced and where she modelled for Versace.[citation needed] In 1992, she moved to Los Angeles,[1] where she would become the second German after Ursula Buchfellner ("Miss October 1979") to appear as the Playmate in the American magazine Playboy, as ("Miss May 1993").[5] Her appearance was record-breaking, with her appearing on the front page in nineteen countries.[6] She has also appeared in various television programmes and fiction films[citation needed]

Accusations against Donald Trump[edit]

In 2018 fellow Playboy Playmate Barbara Moore alleged that Donald Trump had a six-month affair with her, cheating on his pregnant fiancée Marla Maples.[5][7][8] The White House (Trump was president at the time of the allegations) refused to comment.[citation needed] Jeinsen was with Moore and Trump at Trump Tower during one instance of their affair, saying that she witnessed it, but did not engage in sexual activity with Trump herself.[5]

Personal life[edit]

Jeinsen now works as a fitness trainer in Los Angeles. She runs a cooking Channel on YouTube called "Hello Elke!"[4]
