Ellensburg Community Radio (ECR) is a local nonprofit radio station operated out of Ellensburg, Washington.

History[edit]

ECR began its live internet radio stream in late October 2014. The station's programming includes:

  • Gin & Tonic, a weekly music show that features a weekly theme.
  • Waiting for Toast, a three-hour morning show full of music.
  • Americana Live, a program of Americana music, past and present.
  • Blue Planet, an eclectic mix of music from every corner of the world.
  • Lines on Wines, an interview show where winemakers discuss the history and stories behind Washington wines.
  • Duo-ly Noted, a weekly airing of student performances from Central Washington University's music department.
  • The Old-Time Zone, a program of old-time American music.
  • Marc’s Blues Revue, a blues revue with live and recorded music.
  • Gathering Her Notes, a showcase of classical works from the late 20th and the 21st century composed or performed by women.
  • Dr. John's Radio Show, a discussion of diverse health topics and a round-up of current medical news.
