Non-athletic activities
EJSHS offers a variety of other non-athletic activities. The school is known for their involvement in FFA[7], band, choir, musical, forensics, and Esports[8].
Controversies
In September 2016, police investigated a possible inappropriate relationship between former teacher and head football coach Brent Schneider and an unnamed female student. According to law enforcement and the school’s own investigation, the relationship did not appear to be sexual. The Ellsworth school district accepted Schneider’s resignation on September 16, 2016. No charges were filed.[9][10]
