Dr. Elnur Akbarov is Azerbaijani Otorhinolaryngologist who is awarded with “One of the Recommended Doctors of Azerbaijan” title. He is the author of “Effects of Hypothyroidism on Nasal Functions and Voice” scientific research work.
Life[edit]
Dr.Elnur Akbarov was born in Baku on May 14, 1980. He received his secondary education at secondary school No. 158 in the Yasamal district, Baku.
Education[edit]
Elnur Akbarov, began to his medical study in 1996 at Azerbaijan Medical University. Later he chose Military Medicine courses as his specialty.[1]
After graduation he began to work in various hospitals of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces for a few years, then in 2009 Elnur Akbarov enrolled at Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) in the field of Otorhinolaryngology (Ear, Nose, Throat and Head, Neck Surgery), in Turkey and successfully completed his education in 2013.
Medical career[edit]
Dr.Elnur Akbarov started his medical career in 2002 in military hospitals. Now he works at the Main Clinical Hospital of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
He is also the member of the AAO-HNSF (American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Foundation) and the Turkish Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ear, Nose, Throat and Head, Neck Surgery) and Facial Plastic Surgery Association.
