He was born on October 10, 1968 in Tombel and is from Baseng, a locality located in the South West region[1].

In 1994, he graduated from the National School of Administration and the Judiciary (ENAM) and then entered the professional world.
Professional Experience:[edit]
He started first as head of accounting and cash, then authorized officer at the general treasury of Buea, then general paymaster treasurer at the treasury of Bamenda and the same position in the offices of Buea. He then became interim director of the treasury at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, then director of the treasury within the same ministry. Until the end of June 2009, he was also Director General of the Treasury and Financial and Monetary Cooperation. On April 26, 201 he was appointed director of the hydrocarbon price stabilization fund (CSPH).[2]
On October 2, 2015, after serving as Minister Delegate to the Minister of Finance, he entered the government as Minister, Deputy Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic. On March 2, 2018, he was reappointed to this post by presidential decree.
Prior to his appointment as head of CSPH, Elung Paul Che was also a director of DSX, Cameroon's stock exchange.
Elung Paul Che representing the President of the Republic of Cameroon in many ceremonies including the World Summit on Vaccination in June 2020; the national games covering 13 disciplines (Les Dixiades) in 2018.
