Elyts Records & Publishing based in Brussels, Belgium is an small, independent record and publishing company established in 1988. Elyts was formed by the singer-lyricist Gyle Waddy aka H. Gyle Waddy or Hiram-Gyle Waddy. Elyts works with different genre of music: folk, jazz, pop and variety and French chanson Chanson française.

History[edit]

In 1988 Waddy finished recording his first album Strangest Night. After the complication of the album the producer, due to shady circumstances, decided to drop the project and move out of Brussels to Turkey. Before his flee, he asked Waddy if he wanted to become the publisher of the eleven original songs written by Pascal Maton (composer) and Gyle Waddy (lyricist). Taking up the challenge Waddy formed the Elyts Records & Publishing company thirty years. Over it's thirty years Elyts has published and recorded several songs for example: Everywhere the wind blows by the singer Kana Bukuru Lesouple,[1] and Your Love's Right by the French singer Linecey.[2]
