The Embassy of Kuwait in Poland,[lower-alpha 1] also known as the Embassy of the State of Kuwait,[lower-alpha 2] is the diplomatic mission of Kuwait in Poland. The embassy is located in the city of Warsaw, Poland, at 26 Krasickiego Street. The current ambassador of Algeria to Poland is Khalid Yateem Bardi Shahir Alfadhli.[1]
History[edit]
Bilateral relations between Kuwait and Poland were established in 1963. From 1963 to 1991, the ambassador of Kuwait to the Soviet Union, had the non-resident accreditation to Poland, with the embassy located in Moscow. From the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991 to 2001, the function was held by the ambassador to Russia.[2][3]
In 2003, the embassy of Kuwait opened in Poland, originally headquartered in the building of Sheraton Grand Warsaw, at 2 Prusa Street. From 2004 to 2019, it was located at 13 Nullo Street, and since 2019, it is located at 26 Krasickiego Street.[2][3]
