The Lithuanian Embassy in Berlin (Script error: The function "langx" does not exist.) is the diplomatic mission of Lithuania to Germany. It is located in the Mitte, Berlin. The current Ambassador is Giedrius Puodžiūnas.[1]
History
Lithuania's original embassy opened soon after it gained independence in 1918, but in it was closed in 1940 as during WWII Lithuania was integrated into the Soviet Union. Diplomatic relations were established again in 1991,[2][AI-retrieved source][3][AI-retrieved source] after Lithuania became an independent because of the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
