The Embassy of Ukraine in Tehran is the diplomatic mission of Ukraine in Iran.[1]
History[edit]
On December 25, 1991, the Islamic Republic of Iran recognized the independence of Ukraine. In January 1992, the first official meeting took place at the invitation of Anatoliy Zlenko, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and with the visit of Ali Akbar Velayati, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Ukraine. During this meeting, the protocol to establish diplomatic relations between the two countries was signed on January 22, 1992. The Embassy of Ukraine in the Islamic Republic of Iran started its activity in October 1992.[1]
