Embraer MFT-LF (Modern Fighter Trainer- Light Fighter) was a light fighter/advanced trainer project announced in the late 1980s by Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer. The Brazilian government did not want to fund the project alone and was counting on a foreign partner to make the project viable. With the end of the Cold War, no country came forward and the project was eventually scrapped.
