Emelie Hollow

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Emelie Hollow (21 years old) is a New Zealand/Norwegian musician and songwriter. She is best known for her collaboration with Alan Walker on the song "LILY" which to date has 2 billion streams worldwide, almost 140 million plays in the music streaming service Spotify alone.[1] . Emelie has also co-written songs with Seeb, Emma Steinbakken, Alexander Oscar and Jesper Jenset. After her single "Feeling of Christmas" was high on Norwegian radio lists, and "Like I Love You" was made with Swedish star producer Carl Falk (Ariana Grande, Avicii, Justin Bieber), her debut EP "Hear it Out Loud" was released in the Autumn of 2019 in collaboration with producer Øyvind Mathisen (Cezinando, Nils Bech, Ary). It was also the songs from this EP that took her to the stage during this year's by:Larm festival in Norway. Emelie Hollow signed a worldwide artist agreement with Universal Music Norway in 2016 [2]. The same year she signed a publishing agreement with Sony / ATV Music Publishing Scandinavia.

Early Career[edit]

As an 11-year-old, Emelie Hollow found songwriting as a way of expressing herself. Already the following year, at the age of 12, her first feature song was released by Universal Music after she won a song competition by Norwegian Radio P4. Since then, music has played the lead role in Emelie's life. Although her own artist career is now in focus, the music has taken her around the world. She has written for other artists in Stockholm, Copenhagen, London and Nashville.

In 2016, Emelie Hollow participated in the TV 2 program The Stream, where she was one of nine artists signed by a record label [3]
