Search Emerald on Amazon.Codename: Emerald is an upcoming fantasy role-playing game developed and published by Ruvolo Corporation. In close talks with those surrounding the project, the CEO's Vincent and his sister, CC Ruvolo had this to say about the game:
"And as of this day, 15 October 2018, in the eyes of CC and Vincent Ruvolo and the Gods themselves, I do hereby declare Ruvolo Corporation beginning production, effective immediately, of our first fantasy role-playing game, codenamed Emerald. We have no further information to announce at this time."
Little else is known about the new game studio out of Lake Forest, CA, but some have already been stirring up rumors about a Heavy Metal music inspired theme surrounding the project.
Vincent has promised to release more information as the project develops.
Gameplay[edit]
Emerald is rumored to be a 2D side-scrolling platformer RPG with an 8-bit graphical style reminiscent of the original Final Fantasy and Legend of Zelda, with most recent inspirations coming from Shovel Knight, Axiom Verge, and Wings of Vi, all of which are notoriously difficult games.

No information is known about the plot.
Development[edit]
The game was officially announced to be in active development as of October 2018, however Vincent Ruvolo thought of the initial concept for the game "at least" 5 years ago. Serious consideration for the extent of the project took place approximately one month before the official announcement, and once Vincent and his sister CC agreed to the NDA on the 15th of October, Vincent announced the development the game.
