Emerald School was established in 1995 starting with Emerald Nursery and Primary School, Lagos State. In 2005, ten years later, Emerald High School, Ogun State was established

Emerald School was established in 1995 starting with Emerald Nursery and Primary School, Lagos State. In 2005, ten years later, Emerald High School, Ogun State was established. The secondary school was founded to enable the primary school pupils to continue to benefit from the role model building programme of the school.

Location[edit]

The school is located on 34- acre of serene valley of the sleepy Ogunrun-Ori Village in Ogun state, a 25 minutes leisurely drive from the formal Toll Gate at the Lagos end of the Lagos Ibadan Express way. It is easily accessible from every part of the country through Lagos or Ibadan. It is indeed an ideal learning environment because of its calm and scenery and insulation from the city noise.

Management[edit]

The board of Advisors is made of people of high integrity who have distinguished themselves in their various chosen professions which include Accounting, Banking, Human resources Management, Education and Public Service.

Curriculum[edit]

Emerald schools operate a harmonized curriculum, designed to enable students sit for both the local and international/foreign examinations such as the NECO (Both Junior and Senior), the SSCE, Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), THE Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE, SAT and TOEFL.

The curriculum encourages creative thinking and other skills that are needed to succeed as a global citizen. All our examinations are compulsory with the exception of SAT, TOEFL and UTME.
