Emergency Hearts is an American independent record label founded in 2017 by scott crow and currently based in Austin, Texas. Along with being a musician, scott crow is also an author and activist who was under FBI surveillance for activism.[1] Lead artists include Mark Stewart, Sole, Consolidated, Adrian Sherwood, Meat Beat Manifesto, Mark Pistel, Mic Crenshaw, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Lesson Seven, Audio Assault, Steve Marsh, and SINE.[2]

Emergency Hearts was founded in Austin, Texas in 2017.[3] The label began when crow started releasing projects from groups he was part of in the 1980s and 1990s such as Lesson Seven and Audio Assault [4] Lesson Seven toured with acts such as Skinny Puppy on the VIVISectVI tour, Nine Inch Nails and Die Warzau in the 90s. Throughout the 80s and 90s Lesson Seven performed often with Consolidated, Meat Beat Manifesto, Swans, Psychic TV, Front Line Assembly, Revolting Cocks, Clan of Xymox, Laibach, and others.[5]
Emergency Hearts states it is anarchist-run indie collaborative music media project.[6] The label often contributes to mutual aid projects, in 2020 the label donated proceeds to Health Alliance for Austin Musicians.[7]
In 2019, Emergency Hearts artist SINE made headlines when they played a set with Bauhaus when Peter Murphy couldn't make it to concert in Orlando.[8]
In 2021, Emergency Hearts released a single from Mark Stewart featuring Lee "Scratch" Perry and Adrian Sherwood.[9] Emergency Hearts released Mark Stewart's album VS in 2022 that featured artists Mike Watt, Front 242, KK Null and more.[10]
In 2022, Emergency Hearts released notables releases such as Deadeye by Eric Random from New Hormones and Stephen Mallinder from Cabaret Voltaire,[11] a remix of John Wayne Was a Nazi by MDC,[12] and a remix of the song Rebellion by AwareNess from Calm by Angelo Moore and Del the Funky Homosapien.[13]
