Emet Mihajlo (born July 20, 1993) (Cryllic: Емет Михајло) is an American artist, actor and advocate for reparations in the former Yugoslavia.[1][self-published source][2][3][4][self-published source]

Early life[edit]

Mihajlo was raised in the Annapolis area and educated at Broadneck High School before pursuing a healthcare degree.[3] In 2012, he was inspired by the performances of Lena Dunham and Jemima Kirke in the acclaimed HBO series "GIRLS" that he decided to return to acting; according to an article he was featured in.[4][3]

Acting[edit]

Emet Mihajlo credits Bette Davis as a primary influence in his early years.[3] His first appearance was in episode 55 of House of Cards as a campaign donor. In the 6th installment, he played a national guard soldier, Pvt. Ortiz, in which he was directly working with Ami Canaan Mann.[3][5]

In 2019, Mihajlo was booked for the HBO limited series "The Plot Against America" where again he played a soldier boarding the liberty ship SS John W. Brown after which he decided to pursue developing his own projects.[6]

Activism[edit]

Emet Mihajlo became heavily involved in humanitarian and reparations effort in the former Yugoslavia after developing a narrative feature since 2012.[3] He is a strong supporter of Israel and a self-proclaimed "staunch zionist".[1][self-published source]
