Emily Regan (born in 1991 or 1992) is an Australian nurse.[1]

She is best known for her work with the National Health Service during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom.[1]

In 2021, she detailed her experiences with COVID-19 denialism stating: "Occasionally, I run into COVID deniers protesting outside the hospital. It no longer shocks me. I just don't engage. I originally did but there's no point anymore. People don't want to have an educated discussion. Once someone's seen a patient who is hypoxic from this virus and is aware of the time and resources directed at saving their life, then they have the right to an opinion. Otherwise, stay in your lane. I'm not going to waste my limited time on you."[1][3]

Regan is originally from Perth, Western Australia where she graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015.[2]

In 2023, Regan was one of the notable Australians to accept an invitation to attend the Coronation of Charles III and Camilla.[4] Upon receiving the invitation by phone, Regen thought it was a prank call stating: "I thought someone was joking so I was maybe a little bit blunt and said: 'Look, I'm at work - I'm really busy! I'll call you back - give me your name and number!' and then it was real and I had to apologise profusely."[5]

Regan also said she believes that the invitation was only offered to her because the Australian Government was looking for someone to represent nurses, stating: "I'm not remarkable in my field. I go to work every day. I do my job... I think they just kind of wanted someone to, I guess, represent all the nurses."[5]
