Emily Kay Sears (born 10 November 1985) is an Australian model and boxer. She has appeared on the cover of multiple men's magazines including GQ Australia, Maxim, Nuts and Zoo Weekly.[1][2]

Early life[edit]

Sears was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. Her parents were engaged in publishing, where she was exposed to passion for aesthetics at an early age that over time has resulted in a love for modeling. Her passion for modeling began after seeing some photographs of his great-aunt Wendy Martin who was Australian model of the year in 1956 and lived in Los Angeles after being discovered by Helmut Newton. Emily had seen many photographs, not only of her parents' editorial art, but also photographs of her beloved Great-Aunt Wendy, whom she saw as charming. Wanting to replicate her family's legacy, Emily set out to take some photos to feel like her grandmother Wendy did in her day.[3]

Career[edit]

After her quest to enter the modeling industry and achieve success, she got it with Harlem Productions Australia and her first release was sold as two magazine covers, since Sears has appeared on various covers for major magazines. His first cover was with Australia's largest men's magazine Zoo Weekly, her sales were so positive that he was offered a role for each edition, and to date has more than 15 magazine covers internationally.[4]

Sears made her United States debut for Kandy magazine, which in its 8th issue Emily appeared, broke all Kandy sales records on its first day at the Apple App Store and the Google Play store. She has been characterized among many other models by her voluptuous figure, although she would like to have a thin and tall supermodel frame, Emily frequently gives dating tips and sex tips in magazines to readers.[5]

Sears has also represented major brands, among other events and appearances, as well as titles in men's magazines and a wide variety of television commercials and music videos including national campaigns and internationally renowned music artists around the world. Sears has appeared in music videos for the following mainstream artists: Kanye West in a music video I Won, Wiz Khalifa'S Part Girls and G-Eazy song You Got Me.[6]

Personal life[edit]

Sears maintains dual Australian and United States citizenship and often returns to her hometown Melbourne to visit friends and family.

In March of 2017 Sears was seen on a date with fellow Australian and cricket player Shane Warne.[7]

Fight against sexual harassment[edit]

Sears has often publicly criticized men who have been accused of sexual harassment and is an advocate for change in sexual profiling and fair play for women and men.[8][not in citation given] She recently decided to expose men’s harassment through her social networking sites. In an interview, she said that she received messaging indicating her as a slut and she has been fighting against such attitude of men towards women. Her step to expose these men has motivated other women who are a victim of harassment in social networking sites to take action against it.[9][not in citation given][10][not in citation given]

Sears also criticized president Donald Trump for a video from 2005 where Trump was recorded saying how he tried to sex with a married women and made derogatory comment about grabbing women by their private parts and calling women names.[11][not in citation given] Sears posted on Twitter how gross and demeaning his comments were and how this is sick for America.
