Emma Clothier
Emma Clothier (born January 19, 2001) is an American professional volleyball player. She plays as an opposite hitter and has competed in both collegiate and professional leagues. Clothier began her collegiate career at Florida State University before transferring to Southern Methodist University. She later joined professional teams in Europe, including Dresdner SC in Germany.
Early life and education
Emma Scarlett Clothier was raised in the United States. She attended high school in Florida, where she developed her skills in volleyball. Standing at 1.88 meters (6 feet 2 inches), she quickly gained recognition for her athletic abilities.
Collegiate career
Clothier played for the Florida State Seminoles from 2019 to 2022. During her time at Florida State, she contributed as an opposite hitter, helping the team in various competitions. In 2023, she transferred to Southern Methodist University, where she continued her collegiate career with the Mustangs.
Professional career
After completing her collegiate eligibility, Clothier transitioned to professional volleyball. In 2023, she signed with ASPTT Mulhouse in France, competing in the Ligue A Féminine. The following year, she joined Dresdner SC in the German Bundesliga, where she played during the 2024–2025 season. As of 2025, she continues her professional career with Dresdner SC.
