Emma Mae is a 20 year old singer-songwriter from Leicester.[1]. Her music career began at the age of 14 with the release of a charity single[2], and grew in 2019 with the release of 'Fuckboy'[3]. Her most recent releases include her lockdown EP 'What It's Come To' - which gained her a reputation after being picked up by BBC introducing in the East Midlands - and her most recent single Deadline.

Emma Mae grew up in a town a few miles outside of Leicester with her parents Kathryn and Matthew, and younger brother James. She attended Gartree High School until the age of 14 when she moved next-door to Beauchamp College to complete her GCSEs and A Levels. She left Beauchamp in 2018 with A Level qualifications in Music, Music Technology and English Language, and went on to study a BA (Hons) in Popular and Commercial Music at the University of South Wales in Cardiff.

Emma remains living in the City of Cardiff and has made a small name for herself there[4]
