Emma Mae Sheedy (born January 5, 2000) is a Guamanian athlete, model, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned as Miss Earth Guam 2017.
Life and career[edit]
Sheedy is a member of Guam’s national track and field team, co-editor of the Pacific Daily News' VIBE program, and a reporter of Guam Sports Network (GSPN). She's an incoming senior at Guam High School in Agana Heights.[1][2]
Pageantry[edit]
Miss Earth Guam 2017[edit]
Sheedy competed with 16 other candidates for the title and eventually won during the coronation night held on June 21, 2017 in Sheraton Laguna Guam Resort. The She also bagged the special awards Best in Evening Gown and Miss Photogenic.[3]
Miss Earth 2017[edit]
Winning the title, Sheedy was supposedly going to represent the US territory of Guam at the Miss Earth 2017 international beauty pageant in Manila but withdrew due to not meeting the minimum age requirements (she's only 17 years of age).[4]
Miss Earth 2018[edit]
Sheedy will represent Guam and compete in Miss Earth 2018 pageant instead.[5][6]
